Getting connected

The current network name and password are displayed inside the cottage. Please do not reset the router.

If the connection briefly drops, wait a few minutes before restarting any equipment.

Heating & hot water

Using the heating

Use the wall thermostat to make small temperature adjustments. Please do not alter installer settings.

  1. Wake the thermostat display.
  2. Use the temperature controls to choose a comfortable setting.
  3. Allow time for the stone cottage and radiators to respond.

Television & entertainment

Television instructions

The television is normally left powered on in standby mode, allowing the remote controls to turn it on and off.

If the television has no power

  1. Locate the five buttons behind the bottom right-hand corner of the television.
  2. Press the bottom button to switch the television's main power on.
  3. Leave this main power on so the television remains available in standby.

Watching normal television

Use the Panasonic remote. Press the TV input button at the top right of the controller.

Using Amazon Fire TV

  1. On the Panasonic remote, press AV.
  2. Select HDMI 3.
  3. Use the Amazon Fire remote to choose TV channels, Netflix and other available apps.
  4. Voice control can be used to search for channels and programmes.
The power button on the Amazon Fire remote should turn the television on and off. If the screen is blank, check that HDMI 3 is selected.

Departure checklist

  1. Sign out of personal streaming accounts.
  2. Leave the television in standby, not disconnected from mains power.
  3. Place rubbish and recycling in the designated containers.
  4. Close windows and secure external doors.
  5. Return keys as directed in your booking information.
